Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the following products:

  • Catch Flex: Controller (iOS and Android)
  • Catch Flex (Steam version)

Catch Flex: Controller (iOS/Android)

  • Local Processing Only: The app uses your device camera for movement tracking during gameplay. Processing happens on your device.
  • Local Network Transfer: Tracking data is sent only to a local device you own or control (for gameplay), without sending it to our servers.
  • No Collection by Us: We do not collect, store, or access personal data from the Controller app.

Catch Flex (Steam)

The Steam version sends gameplay results only to Steam Leaderboards via Steamworks services.

Data sent to Steam includes:

  • Level score (points earned)
  • Steam account identifier used by Steam services (SteamID/account reference)
  • Your Steam nickname/profile name shown by Steam on leaderboard views
  • Gameplay metadata submitted with score details (for example: accuracy, tracking method, and similar gameplay statistics)

Purpose of this processing: leaderboard ranking and score display in Steam Leaderboards.

We do not send camera video frames from the mobile Controller app, email addresses, payment data, or contact lists through this Steam score submission flow.

We do not use a separate first-party backend for this score submission flow, and we do not transmit this data to any service other than Steam Leaderboards. Data is handled under Valve's policies.

Third-Party Processing (Steam)

When you use the Steam version, Valve may process your data according to the Steam Privacy Policy: https://store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement/.

Data Retention

  • Controller app: We do not store personal data.
  • Steam version: Data retention for Steam Leaderboards data is governed by Valve/Steam systems.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
